Tricia Collins
Deputy Manager at Canola
I first worked with children when I set up a preschool playscheme in the local school after realising there wasn’t one in the area for my own children.
I went on to supporting young children within the school who were falling behind with reading and supervising the children in the playground at lunch times.
I set up and ran a successful business for over 15 years while raising my children.
I started my first job in the care sector when I became employed by Ty Caredig when they opened their first home in March 2022.
Since then, I have worked in the roles of Support Worker, Team Leader, and currently Deputy Manager all within the same home.
I hold a level 3 QCF – Children and Young People and am currently working towards completing Level 4.
